We offer 30-day, free returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@somand.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 1550 Tiburon Blvd, Suite G214, Tiburon CA 94920 USA.
Once accepted, a return shipping label will be emailed to you, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Items must be shipped back within 15 days of the return label issuance or before the 30-day return window closes, whichever is longer. Items returned outside of this timeframe will not be accepted and will be sent back to you at your expense.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), accessories, personal care goods (such as beauty products), and all products bought at in person events (such as Pop-Ups and Regattas) after the event is over. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
THIRD PARTY: Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
- Third-Party Brand Policies Govern: All returns, refunds, and exchanges for products purchased from Maiven or 10 Knots are governed exclusively by the return and refund policies of the respective Third-Party Brand.
- Initiating Returns: Customers wishing to return a product, request a refund, or make an exchange must directly contact Maiven or 10 Knots and follow their specified procedures. Sømand will not process returns, issue refunds, or handle exchanges for these products.

- If links are not available, please contact the brand directly for their policy.
- Our Limited Role: While we aim to facilitate a positive customer experience, our involvement in return or refund processes for Third-Party Brand products is limited. You agree to resolve any return, refund, or exchange issues directly with Maiven or 10 Knots.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@somand.com.
Other
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of this Returns Policy by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to this Returns Policy constitutes acceptance of those changes. We will not retro-actively change the returns policy on an order already placed.
